MailStore Version 24.3: Improved Search Function

We’d like to present a new version of our email archiving software today: Version 24.3 of MailStore Server, the MailStore Service Provider Edition (SPE) and MailStore Home is now available.

New Features in MailStore Version 24.3

MailStore V24.3 includes a small but significant improvement to our search function that administrators and users of our email archiving solutions MailStore Server, the MailStore SPE and MailStore Home can look forward to.

Improved Search Function

Previously, individual search terms in the MailStore search function were automatically linked with a logical AND. With the new version, individual search terms can also be linked with OR. To do so, it is sufficient to enclose the individual search terms in square brackets. This new feature makes searching for archived email data even more convenient and accurate. Example: The search “[to:Tim to:Ralf]” finds all archived emails to Tim or Ralf. Previously, this required two search queries.

Increased Product Security

MailStore Version 24.3 replaces an outdated third-party component with integrated, proprietary functions to further increase product security.

Updated Certification: Meeting Data Privacy Requirements

As usual, the latest version of our software, Version 24.3 of MailStore Server and the MailStore SPE, has been certified by an independent data privacy expert.

The certification takes into account all relevant aspects of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and affirms that, when used appropriately, both MailStore Server and the MailStore SPE meet all the requirements governing the processing of personal data set out in the GDPR.

You can download the new version of MailStore Server, the MailStore Service Provider Edition und MailStore Home free of charge from our website.
