MailStore Version 25.2: Support for OAuth Authentication for Outlook.com and Email Archiving for NoSpamProxy Users

We’d like to present a new version of our email archiving software today: Version 25.2 of MailStore Server, the MailStore Service Provider Edition (SPE), MailStore Gateway and MailStore Home is now available.

New Features in MailStore Version 25.2

With MailStore 25.2, you can look forward to new archiving options. In addition, the security of our software has been improved once again.

MailStore Supports OAuth Authentication for Outlook.com

The MailStore archiving profile for Outlook.com, including all email domains (e.g. outlook.com, live.com, hotmail.com and msn.com) now finally supports OAuth authentication. This makes login problems a thing of the past.

Email Archiving for NoSpamProxy Users

With MailStore version 25.2, NoSpamProxy users can now archive their emails. To do this, NoSpamProxy is configured via a connector so that the emails are sent to the MailStore Gateway.

NoSpamProxy is a leading email security solution that provides reliable protection against malware, ransomware and spam, as well as secure email encryption, easy and secure sending of large files and effortless management of email disclaimers.

Further Improvements

In MailStore 25.2, some third-party components have been updated to increase the security of our software. In addition, the audit log now contains more details when login attempts fail. Further minor improvements and bug fixes can be found in our changelog.

Updated Certification: Meeting Data Privacy Requirements

As usual, the latest version of our software, Version 25.2 of MailStore Server and the MailStore SPE, has been certified by an independent data privacy expert.

The certification takes into account all relevant aspects of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and affirms that, when used appropriately, both MailStore Server and the MailStore SPE meet all the requirements governing the processing of personal data set out in the GDPR.
