Via our online store

In our Online Store you can buy MailStore using a credit card, PayPal or a bank transfer.

User Licenses

User Licenses

How many licenses will I need?

Purchase of 25 User Licences for example permits the archiving of emails of 25 of the User's staff members. This applies regardless of whether the staff members are in possession of one or more email accounts.

Email accounts which are not tied to an individual staff member ("group accounts") can be archived without extending the User Licences so long as a user licence has been purchased for each staff member using the group account.

An employee is leaving the company. What happens to his license?

If an already licensed user leaves the company, his user license is released. His archive remains in existence and can be reassigned to somebody else.

Which services are included in the purchase price?

With each purchase of MailStore Server you receive at least one year of free updates and technical support. During this period, even updates to a new main version (e.g. from version 4.1 to 5.0) are free of charge.

How much does an extension cost?

If desired, you can extend the period for which you receive free updates and support by one year any number of times. We will send you a reminder by email. There are no obligations, and no notice to terminate is required. To find out the costs for your renewal, please refer to our price table.

When do I receive my license file?

You will receive your MailStore Server license file via email immediately after payment is received. When using a credit card, this means instantly.

Can an existing trial installation be upgraded?

If you are already using the MailStore Server trial installation, you can upgrade it by applying your new license file; no reinstallation is necessary.

Are there any discounts for non-profit, educational and public institutions?

I already have an email archiving solution. Will I receive a discount for changing to MailStore?

Yes. Please contact us for additional information.

Can I sign up as reseller and sell MailStore to my customers?

Yes. Please register for our MailStore partner program.

Buying Additional User Licenses

Can additional user licenses be acquired after purchase?

Additional user licenses can be purchased at any time. Please contact us by sending an email to or by calling +49 - (0)2162 50299-0. We gladly prepare a quotation.

The prices for additional user licenses include Update and Support Service (USS) for the duration of the main license only. The USS duration of the main license and the USS duration of any additional licenses will always end at the same time.
