MailStore Version 24.4 now available

New App for Outlook and Increased Security

Viersen, 10.10.2024 +++ The German specialist for email archiving, MailStore by OpenText, is today launching the latest version, V24.4, of its MailStore email archiving solutions. The update for MailStore Server, the MailStore Service Provider Edition (SPE) and MailStore Gateway brings important new features:•

• New App for Outlook
  Users can now access MailStore directly via Outlook – both cloud and web-based – as the new app integrates the functions of MailStore Web Access into the client. The integration of the new app is possible in all Outlook versions with corresponding app support. For all other Outlook versions that do not support apps, the existing MailStore Outlook Add-in will remain available. Further details can be found in our online help.
• Archiving Emails With Binary Content
  MailStore V24.4 now supports archiving emails with binary content from MailStore Gateway. This improves the reception of Microsoft 365 journal messages via the BDAT SMTP command (RFC 3030).
• Increased Security
  MailStore Gateway now uses .NET 8, which increases security.

As usual, Version 24.4 of MailStore Server and the MailStore SPE were certified by an independent IT auditor and data privacy expert. The GDPR certificate relates to the processing of personal data, which for both solutions complies with the requirements of the EU’s GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG) in Switzerland, respectively.
