MailStore – After Windows enters sleep mode, MailStore Server stops and fails to restart

Cause
The Windows operating system can be configured so that it enters sleep mode after a certain period of time, thereby stopping MailStore Server.
Solution
Check the power settings in the Windows operating system and set the power-saving mode for AC power to “Never.”
The MailStore Client must be closed. The MailStore Server service must be started, the MailStore Client can then be restarted.
Summary
This issue is not caused by MailStore.
Adjust the power-saving settings in the Windows operating system as follows:
1) Search for Control Panel in the Windows search bar on the taskbar and open it.
2) Open the Hardware and Sound section.
3) Open Power Options.
4) Open Edit power plan.
5) Set Put the computer to sleep for ‘Plugged in’ to ‘Never’.
