The publishing house B.Boll is fully autonomous and operates the independent daily newspaper ‘Solinger Tageblatt’, among others. The Boll family is the sole owner of the paper and is represented by the publishers Bernhard Boll and Michael Boll as well as Mrs. Gisela Bandekow (née Boll), sister of Bernhard Boll.
Economic strength is a prerequisite for maintaining journalistic independence. This is why B.Boll is part of numerous collaborative projects. For example, the publisher has been running ‘Westdeutsche Zeitung plus’ together with ‘Westdeutsche Zeitung’ and ‘Remscheider General-Anzeiger’ for over 60 years. The editorial team is based in Duesseldorf, Germany, and ensures that the cross-regional paper maintains a high journalistic quality.
