Hotfix Available – Update now to MailStore Server 12.1.3!

Today, we released a security fix for the MailStore Outlook Add-in. Due to a critical security vulnerability discovered during work on the next main version, we are now urgently advising businesses to update to the hotfix version provided.

The update for the MailStore Outlook add-in can be found here. You do not need to have a current Update & Support Service agreement in order to update the Outlook Add-in.

Please note: If you activate “Automatically search for server updates” under Product Updates, MailStore Server will regularly search for any new versions. When a new version becomes available, this will appear on the dashboard in the MailStore Client. If you’ve entered a “Recipient for Notifications” in your SMTP settings, this person will be additionally notified by email when updates become available.

Notes on MailStore Service Provider Edition

Service providers who are offering their customers email archiving as a service on the basis of the MailStore Service Provider Edition (SPE) can download the hotfix via the Management Console or from the default page of the Client Access Server (CAS).
