MailStore Home 7 Beta: Possible Virus Scanner Problems
As reported by some users of our new MailStore Home 7 Beta a specific virus scanner software signals a trojan (TR/Spy.Gen). But this obviously is a “false-positive” and not true.
Due to our very high safety standards a release of an infected software version is almost impossible. So we ask for your kind support: If you have such a supposedly infected file please inform the vendor of your antivirus software about the download link and tell them to check it manually.
A review using services like virustotal.com showed up that only 1 out of 42 well known virus scanners reports this problem with MailStore Home 7 Beta – and it is Avira AntiVir.
Update April, 24th, 2012:
No problems with Avira AntiVir any longer.
