MailStore – Microsoft 365 – API Permissions “Grant admin consent” is unavailable in Azure

Summary
When registering MailStore as an application within a Microsoft 365 tenant via the Azure API permissions panel, the “Grant admin consent” button may be unavailable.
Cause
Only the Azure Global Administrator has permission to grant tenant-wide admin consent.
Resolution
Switch to an Azure account that has Global Administrator permissions, navigate to the application and click the Grant admin consent. You may return to the Application Administrator to complete any remaining steps.
