MailStore Cloud V25.4

MailStore Cloud Version 25.4: Mass Data Migration, Improved Accessibility, and Much More

We’d like to present V25.4 of our email archiving software MailStore Cloud, which is now available.

New Features in MailStore Version 25.4

With MailStore 25.4, you can look forward to the following new features:

Bulk Data Migrations From MailStore Server or MailStore SPE to MailStore Cloud

Version 25.4 of the cloud-native email archiving solution MailStore Cloud makes mass data migration easier. Signed ZIP files exported using MailStore Server or MailStore SPE are imported into MailStore Cloud. The signature transfers the archiving data of the emails so that existing retention periods for archived emails can be taken into account. In addition, after the import into MailStore Cloud, folder synchronization is performed. That means, in addition to the emails, the folder structure is also imported from MailStore Server or the MailStore SPE, and the imported emails can be found in the corresponding folders in MailStore Cloud.

Improved Archiving of IRM-Protected Messages

MailStore Cloud archives and indexes IRM-protected messages (Microsoft Information Rights Management). Previously, only the encrypted part of an IRM-protected message was displayed in the archive, even though the entire IRM-protected message (encrypted and unencrypted part) was archived. With version 25.4, the unencrypted part of an IRM-protected message is also visible in the archive.

Improved Accessibility

Several improvements have been made to the user interface to improve accessibility. These include optimized screen contrast and improved keyboard control (tab navigation).

Improved Visibility of Permissions and Group Memberships

Administrators can enjoy improved visibility of user rights and group memberships in MailStore Cloud V25.4, which are now displayed in a separate tab in the corresponding dialog.

Increased Security When Logging in

Security is a top priority at MailStore Cloud. That’s why newly created administrators and users must change their initial password when they log in for the first time.

Updated Certification: Meeting Data Privacy Requirements

Version 25.4 of MailStore Cloud has been certified by an independent data privacy expert.

The certification takes into account all relevant aspects of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and affirms that, when used appropriately, MailStore Cloud meets all the requirements governing the processing of personal data set out in the GDPR.

As soon as it is available you can request a copy of the official GDPR audit certificate from [email protected].

Registered MailStore partners can download the certificates from our Partner Portal or request it by email from [email protected].
