No. Importing and exporting emails can only be automated with a task planner in MailStore Server.

This error message indicates that on of the fields in the import profile was not filled out correctly. The following principles apply:
(*) Depending on the configuration, it is often necessary to use HTTPS instead of HTTP.
(*) Enter a complete email address as user name.
(*) If a central user account is used for archiving, ensure that the field postbox contains the complete email address. Otherwise the field can be left blank.
(*) In case of a special configuration of the IIS on the exchange server, the field postbox must contain the relative URL, for example: /exchangematches/postboxname

No. Identical emails are only archived once.

No. MailStore archives emails only.

No. Currently, exporting to MBOX is not possible. However, emails can be exported as single files in RFC822/EML format.

No. Emails cannot be exported to Thunderbird directly. However, emails can be exported from MailStore in RFC822/EML format, and then imported with Thunderbird. This may require a Thunderbird extension, which is available on the internet for free.

Folders are automatically deleted, as soon as they do not contain any more emails.

No. During archiving, MailStore adopts the folder structure of the source (for example of Microsoft Outlook).

Emails can be moved between folders by right-clicking on one or more emails and selecting “move into folder”.

No. While archiving, MailStore adopts the folder structure and the folder name of the source (for example of Microsoft Outlook).

No, the automatic deletion of emails after archiving is only available with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Express, IMAP postboxes and Exchange postboxes.

Yes. Designed as a backup software for home use, MailStore Home can be used unrestrictedly and free of charge.

MailStore Home is our free backup software for home use. In general, MailStore Home can be installed on corporate PCs. Despite this, we strongly recommend not to us it for corporate e-mail archiving as it is not designed for this purpose.

Currently, MailStore is only available online as a download.
