MailStore provides a high-performance search function allowing you to browse
millions of emails and file attachments (any file types) without any significant
delay.
The end-user components (Outlook Add-in and Web Access) are available in these languages:
German, Dutch, English, French, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish,
Turkish and Chinese (simplified and traditional).
Microsoft Outlook Add-in
With MailStore, all users can access their own archived emails directly and search
them at previously unheard-of speed. With the Outlook add-in, this can be done in
their usual work environment. The Outlook add-in is compatible with Microsoft Outlook
2000, XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010 (currently 32-bit only).
MailStore Web Access
With MailStore Web Access it is possible to access the archive via any given web
browser. MailStore Web Access offers not only a full search and display function for
archived emails, but also offers access via folder structure and functions for
restoring emails from the archive.
MailStore Client
The MailStore Client software for Windows provides full functionality and
makes the archived emails available for comprehensive use.
Features
Access through the original folder structure
MailStore Server applies the original folder structure from the source. In practice
this means that folders created in Microsoft Outlook or in an Exchange mailbox,
for example, can be found in the Mail Store archive unchanged.
Fast full-text search of emails and file attachments
Users can search their emails and file attachments in a fraction of a second.
A powerful extended search allows for a precise refinement of the search results
and the storage and administration of search queries. File attachments, such as
Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF files, can also be searched using the MailStore
full-text search.
Preview of emails that is true to the original
The preview of archived emails corresponds to that of familiar applications
such as Microsoft Outlook.
Opening emails in the e-mail application with a click of the mouse
To reply to or forward an archived email, users can simply open it in the
email application (e.g. Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird) with a click
of the mouse.
Opening file attachments out of the archive using double-click
File attachments can be opened directly out of the archive; the corresponding
email does not have to be restored.
Teamwork through access permissions
Depending on the assignment of privileges, individual users may access parts of
the archive assigned to other users. Using the standard configuration, users can
only access their own emails.
Restoring emails or entire mailboxes with one-click restore
Depending on the assignment of privileges, users can export their emails out of
the archive in many ways: Individual emails or entire folders can be exported
to mailboxes, PST files or burned directly onto CD/DVD (no external burning
